Mallorca ,  24 golf course in less than one hour drive!

Thanks to its weather and its wonderful facilities, Mallorca is one of golf lovers’ favourite tourist places. In order to satisfy this demand, there are 24 golf courses located all over the island, surrounded by residential areas and complementary places to enjoy your free time which makes even more pleasant your stay with no need to do large trips.

The Southwest, especially the Coast of Calvià offers a combination of well-equipped tourist resorts and the area with more golf courses on the island; 8 excellent courses at a short distance from some hotels, such as Santa Ponça Golf I, Santa Ponsa Golf II, Santa Ponsa Golf III where 6 tournaments of the European Tour have been held, Poniente a course surrounded by outstanding views of the mountain range of Tramuntana and designed by the famous architect Mr. John Harris, Golf de Bendinat y el Golf de Andratx.

In Palma we find the oldest course on the island, built in the late 50's, Son Vida Golf , which belongs to  Arabella Starwood group. It is the leader resort in the Mediterranean , with 4 excellent golf courses: Son Muntaner, Son Vida, Son Quint y Son Quint Executive, the unique Pitch&Putt in Mallorca.
When we leave Palma  towards Valldemossa we find the  Golf de son Termens , with great mountains views.
Going south, two golf courses  should not be forgotten in Llucmajor:   Son Antem -east & west, belonging to the Marriot chain.
Between the tourist areas of Porto Colom and Vall D´Or, there is the Golf  de Vall D´Or first opened  in 1985 with magnificent views of the Mediterranean sea.

In the northeast, the quiet and relaxing area of Capdepera and surroundings offer a great deal of possibilities:   the Golf of Capdepera, Canyamel  Golf, Golf Son Servera y Pula Golf.

Located in the North of Mallorca, Alcanada Golf, inaugurated in September 2003, and designed by Robert Trent Jones, also offers spectacular views of the  Mediterranean Sea. And, as its name suggests, the Golf de Pollensa, is located in the town of Pollença.

Last but not least, we cannot forget the recently open golf courses,  Maioris, located in a privileged setting near the sea, Golf Park Puntiró designed by the company Nicklaus Desing and Golf Son Gual, where the Seniors Open, part of the European Senior Tour, is held.
