Location: located in the centre of Mallorca, it is one of the largest municipalities in the Pla de Mallorca. The first news about traces of population talk about some occupation during the pre-talayotic period. It is a quite interesting town because of the Cura monastery close to the Randa mountain, where Ramon Llull wrote most of its literary work.
