Costa d'en Blanes, The luxury residential area next to the glamourous Puerto Portals

One of the most exclusive areas of the island since it was urbanized at the end of the ‘70s. Partly because of its proximity to Palma and partly because of the great sea views and setting in a mountainous enclave surrounded by the Na Burgesa national park. The construction of the Palma motorway in the ‘80s and specially the great feat of engineering that is now known as Puerto Portals in the ‘90s were a great step forward for this area. The market value rose steeply, increasing the number of international inves- tors, in what had previously been a local resident’s area. The recent opening of the famous international Agora College in Portals, just below the estate, has increased the demand in the area for a new market, families looking for large, modern apartments near the college.
